Veterinary TeleBehavioral Consultation
This service includes consultation as needed with the pet parent or the attending DVM regarding past or future labwork, medical testing, and psychoactive medications.
This service requires agreement from the local attending DVM to retain the Veterinary Client Patient Relationship, provide any "hands-on" medical services, and allow the telebehavioral consultant to collaborate directly with the client under that attending DVM's "Indirect Veterinary Supervision."
This service is not available in certain states, but the wording in each state is evolving. If any state determines this service is not allowed, then it will be discontinued in that state.
